That sounds so cute- where did you get it?

I just received the most darling new AG-size outfit...an authentic American Airlines flight attendant costume! It has a navy blue knee length A-line dress with short sleeves, collar and embroidered crest, a beautifully tailored little 2-button blazer (lined, no less,) with sleeve stripes and tiny gold metal wings pin, navy blue pantyhose (NOT tights!) white panties and black Mary Jane shoes. The dress actually zips up the back, just like a real one! I can't describe how cute this is, but it got me to thinking...does anyone have a source for US military uniforms for dolls? (Specifically the Air Force.) I would love to find something like this, to dress my dolls in honor of our women in the armed forces. If anyone has a source, could you please let me know? Thanks!!! Cool! AGCrayZee (wherever she is!) has some AA uniforms for her dolls. Her Samantha and my traveling doll got to wear them when they went to England, and they were so CUTE!
Enjoy yours!
The closest thing I found to military uniforms were the build a bear ones. I contemplated buying them and having my mom alter them to AG specs and changing some of the detail on it to make my own Marine uniform.
I found a Vogue pattern for a Navy officer's uniform, but that's the best I've done.

I bookmarked it...now I'm just trying to think of a way to convince my Navy-officer boyfriend that he needs a doll to display it on after I make it. Never mind that it's a woman's uniform.

I always thought that pantyhose is just the American term for the British word tights and practically the same.

Maybe Dolly the doll clothes maker would make up some uniforms.
Thanks MollyGirl - gosh it's so much easier in England - you just go and buy tights - whether sheer or made of cotton or whatever.
I hate the word 'pantyhose'! I try to say 'nylons' or 'hose.'
I really like the airline uniforms. I wish the Northwest/KLM attendants had a similar fundraiser. (From what I can recall, United and American both made uniforms as a fundraiser for their employee association.) They are my airline of choice, even though everyone seems to despise them. Their WorldPerks program certainly does inspire brand loyalty!
Plus, they are always very receptive to my dolls, who I insist get their own seats!
I've been looking for a good old school woodland camo fabric to make a BDU set for my AGs but I haven't been able to find doll scale camo fabric in anything but the digital camo from the new uniforms.
I sew and I'd just make my own pattern. I'm just holding out for the fabrics. LOL
